The Heart of the Pitch
Collin County Rugby Club was founded in 2023 to create a sustainable rugby home for players in Collin County and the northern communities of North Texas.
The club was built around a simple need: giving adult players a place to stay involved in the game without requiring the same level of travel, time commitment, or intensity often associated with more demanding rugby programs. For some players, CCRFC is a way to continue playing after years in the sport. For others, it is an opportunity to learn rugby in a team environment shaped by experienced teammates and a strong club culture.
As the Copperheads continue to grow, our focus remains on building a club that is competitive in spirit, social in nature, and committed to the long-term growth of rugby in Collin County. We value hard work, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and the belief that rugby should remain accessible to players at different stages of life and experience.
